In order to simulate the extreme situation in daily driving as much as possible, we chose the full high-speed test. after all, the most anxious scene for everyone driving an electric car is running the high speed, the route is from Shenzhen via Shenhai Expressway to Shantou Nan'ao Island, the whole journey is about 380 kilometers. After arrival, we will return the next day to continue testing until the vehicle lies down.

In the course of the test, except for some maintenance sections, the vehicles are basically cruising at 100km/h speed, the driving mode is set to energy saving + single pedal mode, the air conditioning is set to 23 degrees Celsius, and the air volume of two blocks (outdoor temperature 10 ℃).

After a total of more than 7 hours of driving, until the vehicle completely lost power and lay down near the charging station, the subtotal mileage of the LUXEED S7 was fixed at 583.1 km.

In other words, the success rate of service life is more than 82%, and the average power consumption is about 14.1kWh/100km.

This result obviously exceeded our expectations and exceeded most of the electric cars of the same class that we have tested.

In fact, like many Huawei phones, the LUXEED S7 provides a special super power-saving mode, which turns off power-consuming functions such as smart driving system and driving recorder by default, and restricts the use of air conditioners, seat heating and other functions.

Obviously, this was developed by Huawei engineers to reassure consumers as much as possible, but because we want to be as close to the scene of daily life as possible, we also need to properly experience its intelligent and comfortable configuration. So this option is not turned on.

Under such circumstances, the success rate can reach more than 80%. I believe it can completely allay everyone's anxiety about the battery life of the electric car. if super power saving is turned on, there is reason to believe that this car can create a better success rate.

It is worth mentioning that the entire LUXEED S7 series is equipped with 800V high voltage platform, and the highest charging power can reach 300kw. According to official data, when the charging station supports power above 300kw, it can replenish 215km in 5 minutes and increase its range by 430km in 15 minutes.

In addition to life, intelligence is also the focus of our experience this time.

Huawei has a very high specification for the intelligent configuration of LUXEED S7 this time, and the whole department is equipped with HUAWEI ADS driving assistance system to support autopilot on high-speed roads. the MAX version of our long-term test is equipped with lidar to further support autopilot on urban roads (ADS on urban roads needs to be optional).

On the highway and urban viaduct, in addition to turning on adaptive cruising and lane maintenance, the car can also automatically adjust the maximum speed in real time according to the speed limit information of navigation, completely liberating the right foot.

Once the speed of the vehicle in front is below the current speed limit, the LUXEED S7 will choose the right route and automatically overtake, which is more skillful than my veteran driver who has been driving for more than 10 years.

When passing by some carts, the LUXEED S7 will take the initiative to avoid the carts and change the direction slightly to stay away from the carts.
