BYD Officially Delivers Electric Bus Chassis to Assist Green Transportation Transformation in Nuevo Leon, Mexico

In Monterrey, capital of the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, BYD Mexico, in conjunction with international energy company Enel X, delivered the first pure electric floor bus chassis to Metrorrey, the public transportation system in Monterey. The buses will be assembled by BYD in cooperation with local partner bus manufacturer Marcopolo and are expected to be put into operation in January 2024. This cooperation has a total of 21 pure electric 12m high floor buses for the operation of urban public transport lines.

These electric buses are equipped with BYD's most advanced technology, such as blade batteries. It is worth mentioning that this bus uses the latest generation of high-end chassis, its intelligent suspension system, braking system and other excellent, with higher safety and stability.
